“I’ve been working with Alicia Cutaia for 5 years now, and in that time, have grown to love and respect her work immensely. She is a gifted and expressive dancer with deep technical training, a dedicated and visionary director, and a passionate coach with the ability to instruct beginners and advanced students alike. I would be equally happy to attend her class, share the stage, enlist her to coach my acrobatic students or hire her as a solid performer for any event.”

Head director Alicia Cutaia is a terrific communicator and was able to consistently deliver me answers to any and every question I had. Additionally, the staff that she hires is of utmost quality and matches her level of professionalism. More recently, I have joined the ranks of stage management for the company and could not be more pleased with people I get to work with. Brilliant and talented creatives with an unending drive to provide excellence and premium quality entertainment. “I studied contemporary dance with Alicia for nearly four years. Not only was she a fantastic choreographer, but she was also a wonderful coach and mentor. She taught me to move in new and creative ways, helping me to push my boundaries as a dancer and become the best I could be. When I would perform or compete, she provided me with invaluable support and motivation. Over the years, I watched as she worked with students of various ages, and she inspired a true love of dance in the classroom on a daily basis. I loved dancing to Alicia Cutaia’s choreography, and it was a joy to learn from her!”

“I had the opportunity to train under Alicia Cutaia starting my sophomore in high school, from 2009-2011. At the time I was transitioning studios and becoming more serious about my training. Studying under Alicia was one of the most rewarding and incredible experiences for my dance training. She pushed me to be not only a better dancer but a better human being. She challenged me in ways that I couldn’t do myself and truly saw my potential. Alicia taught me how to be a better performer and a stronger technician with her incredible teaching skills. Alicia’s attention to detail is without a doubt the most unique part of her teaching style. I have vivid memories of being in the studio and doing things over and over again until I felt that it was right. She wanted it to come from me, she wanted my confidence in the choreography to come from within. However, Alicia also saw when I was being too hard on myself, and stepped in to encourage me to not criticize myself as much.
I will say, I have never had a teacher like Alicia. She commits to her students and invests in their potential as future dancers, but remains honest and grounded. I felt supported by Alicia in so many ways and enjoyed her classes and teaching style more than any other teacher I’ve had. What I appreciated the most about Alicia was her ability to challenge me when I started to doubt myself. Sugar-coating is not in her language, and this only made me a better dancer and person. As I look back on my time spent training with Alicia, I have so many incredible memories that will never be forgotten. As I headed off to college to become a dance major, I remained in contact with Alicia and felt supported by her even from miles away. After training with many teachers, I can say that Alicia’s style is uniquely one of a kind, and her compassion for her student’s potential never went unnoticed. If you have the opportunity and privilege to train and study under Alicia Cutaia, do it, because you won’t regret it ☺”

“Alicia Cutaia is an inspiring artist that I look up to. I first met her in the class that she taught, contemporary. Alicia’s class is strongly influenced by the Limon technique where she would push us, her students and myself, to our limits in fall and release. We would typically start with a somewhat complex floorwork series to get us to feel grounded and release, and by the end of class, we would be on our feet with a combination of everything we worked on throughout the class. I really enjoy how everything comes together by the end of class. I feel that the way she puts the class together is superb. Everyone feels comfortable and has some kind of correction or compliment and that makes anyone feel better by being seen. Alicia is an excellent teacher, I cannot imagine where I would be if I did not meet her.”
